Seablue Innovators Website

The real value of Seablue Innovators goes far beyond the products they sell. Their work connects seaweed farming, local entrepreneurship, coastal communities, sustainability, and ocean conservation but communicating all of that through a conventional product website would fail to capture what makes the company different. The challenge was to make visitors understand both what Seablue creates and why their work matters.

My role
I worked as the Full-Stack Developer and Product Designer, responsible for translating Seablue Innovators’ business goals into a complete digital experience. My role covered UI/UX design, frontend and backend development, custom CMS implementation, content structure, performance, security, deployment, and the overall technical direction of the project.

MadeMark Studio - Blank to Branded

Creative printing and branding studios need more than a conventional catalogue to communicate their value. Their work spans different products, materials, and production techniques, making it challenging to present their capabilities in a way that feels cohesive, engaging, and easy to navigate. The challenge was to design a platform that could translate the creative process into an interactive digital experience while giving visitors straightforward ways to discover services, explore projects, and submit detailed inquiries. At the same time, the platform needed a centralized way to manage services, portfolio content, and incoming inquiries without treating every content update as a development task.

My role
I led the concept development and website implementation, translating the business's printing and branding services into a cohesive digital experience. My responsibilities included defining the visual direction, shaping the user experience, implementing the responsive landing page, developing the visual storytelling approach, and refining interactions and layouts across screen sizes. I also structured the content around the central “Blank → Branded” concept, ensuring that the design communicated the business's value proposition rather than simply listing services. The project reflects my approach to combining thoughtful design decisions with practical engineering to build polished, adaptable web experiences.

Tasker - Personal Task Management API

As task lists grow, a simple checklist makes it harder to distinguish urgent work, break larger tasks into smaller steps, and keep relevant notes attached to each task. Users need a structured way to organize their responsibilities and understand what is active, completed, or overdue. The engineering challenge was to model those relationships while handling authentication, data ownership, validation, and persistence consistently.

My role
I designed and developed Tasker’s Go backend, including REST APIs, PostgreSQL data models, and business logic for tasks, subtasks, categories, and comments. I integrated Clerk authentication, user ownership checks, request validation, and error handling. I also built supporting infrastructure for database migrations, background email processing, logging, monitoring, and health checks, while establishing the React frontend and shared API tooling foundation.

  • - Versioned REST endpoints for tasks, categories, comments, and task statistics.
  • - Layered Go architecture separating handlers, services, and repositories.
  • - Constructor-based dependency injection across backend components.
  • - Task lifecycle modeling with priorities, deadlines, and completion timestamps.

VeraUI — Open-Source React Component Library

Data tables and application sidebars involve recurring complexity. Developers need sorting, filtering, selection, navigation groups, active-route indicators, and responsive layouts, often with different styling and state requirements. A component library needs to package these behaviors into reusable APIs while providing documentation that makes configuration and integration clear.

My role Open-source frontend contributor, focused on React component development, component refinements, and technical documentation within an existing shared library.
